Thank you for shopping at myshoppinglist.vu. We are committed to delivering your household essentials and goods across Vanuatu as quickly and reliably as possible.

1. Delivery Areas & Methods

We currently offer the following delivery options:

  • Port Vila & Suburbs: Door-to-door delivery within the Port Vila municipal area and surrounding suburbs (including Malapoa, Mele, Pango, and Erakor).

  • Outer Island Shipping: For customers in Santo, Tanna, Malekula, and other islands, we deliver to the Port Vila domestic wharf (for shipping via local vessels) or the airport (for Air Vanuatu cargo).

  • Self-Pickup: You may collect your order directly from our central operations hub in Port Vila during business hours.

2. Shipping Rates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout:

  • Port Vila Flat Rate: 500 VT for standard delivery.

  • Special Delivery feesi: Available for orders over 10,000 VT within Port Vila.

  • Outer Island Handling: A flat handling fee of 1,000 VT applies to deliver your items to the wharf or airport. Note: The customer is responsible for paying the final freight cost directly to the shipping line or airline upon arrival at the destination.

3. Processing & Delivery Times

  • Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on Sundays or public holidays.

  • Delivery Estimates:

  • Port Vila: Same-day or Next-day delivery for orders placed before 12:00 PM.

  • Outer Islands: Delivery to the wharf/airport within 2 business days. Arrival depends on the vessel or flight schedule.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is out for delivery, you will receive an SMS or email notification. For outer island shipments, we will provide you with the Vessel Name or Airway Bill Number for tracking with the respective carrier.

5. Damaged or Lost Items

myshoppinglist.vu is not liable for products damaged or lost during transit to outer islands once handed over to a third-party carrier (e.g., shipping vessel or airline).

  • Please inspect your package upon delivery in Port Vila before signing.

  • If your order arrives damaged within our local delivery zone, please contact us immediately at [Insert Phone/Email] with your order number and a photo of the damage.

6. International Shipping

We currently do not offer international shipping. We focus exclusively on serving the Vanuatu community.

8. Delivery Instructions & Landmarks

Since many areas in Vanuatu do not have formal street addresses, we rely on your specific directions to ensure a successful delivery.

  • Required Details: When placing your order, please use the "Order Notes" or "Delivery Instructions" field at checkout to provide:

    • Specific landmarks (e.g., "Near the shop," "Opposite the school").

    • House color or gate descriptions.

    • Any specific instructions for the driver (e.g., "Leave at the front porch" or "Call upon arrival").

  • Failed Delivery: If our driver cannot locate your address based on the instructions provided and cannot reach you via the phone number listed on the order, the items will be returned to our hub. A re-delivery fee of 500 VT may apply.

  • Contactability: Please ensure your phone is switched on and reachable during your scheduled delivery window.


Implementation Tips for Your Site:

  • Public Holidays: Since Vanuatu has several unique public holidays (e.g., Father Lini Day, Constitution Day), "Deliveries may be delayed during local public holidays and move to next day."
